Nathan Dux

Nathan Dux is our running coach - Sprinting background but coaches all runners to improve technique and learn more about running performance.

Nathan is a qualified Personal Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Level 2 Track and Field Sprints Coach with over a combined 8years experience.  Nathan specialises in Sports Strength & Conditioning, Kettlebells, TRX suspension training, Core Strengthening and Functional Training, Bodyweight training and Interval training. 
 
Nathan has always had a passion for sport and fitness. He played a variety of sports through school but it was athletics that won his attention in the end. Sprinting his way to State and National titles in the 100m and 200m, he was elected athletics captain at Caulfield Grammar School and led the school to its' 10th Consecutive Winning APS Title. In that same year 2003, Nathan was also elected Victorian Captain for the National Championships. With over 14 years experience in Athletics competitions from Little Athletics through to Senior National competition Nathan has seen and experienced the high's and low's of elite performance.
 
Since attaining his national sprint coaching accreditation Nathan has coached various athletes of all abilities and ages. He has coached indiviudals to win State and National Championships, assist with the training program for international selected athletes. Nathan has coached in the School's system with Caulfield Grammar School where he was Director of the Junior Squad, he has also had a Head Sprints Coaching role at at Firbank Girls Grammar. In 2008, Nathan created the Dux Sprint Squad in which he is the head coach of a sprint squad at the Knox Athletics Club.
 
Nathan has also had experience in Strength & Conditioning, he has coached at Heidelberg United Junior Soccer Club and the Eastern Lions Soccer Club in 2008 as a Fitness and Sprints Coach.
 
Nathan has had over 2 years experience in Personal Training, Group training and Bootcamp Programs. He believes that hard work and commitment will result in sucess. Nathan has also trained Corporate Groups and has had experience in Corporate public speaking about health & fitness. He is passionate about helping you achieve your goals and gives you every opportunity to achieve them. Nathan's training sessions are fun and his variety of sessions using different forms of equipment always has you expecting the unexpected.
